1. The first character you fell in love with:
Aerith and Tifa, I loved how Aerith looked, and I loved how Tifa punched and kicked things.

2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
Cloud Strife. I honestly didn't care much for him beyond making him look pretty for Don Corneo in Wall Market. His very hardcore fangirls kind of put me off towards him, and I didn't start to like him that much until I stepped away from the fandom for a long while and replayed the game again.

3. The character everyone else loves that you don’t [like as much]:
Sephiroth. He's fun for me to make fun of, but beyond that, he doesn't seem so remarkable to me. Yes, he's an icon, but I find other villains such as Kefka from Final Fantasy VI to be more interesting. At least Kefka succeeded in destroying the world. XD

4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
Barret Wallace! I don't know if anyone actually hates him, but nobody ever seems to actually care about him. They just write him off as some token character that is stereotyped, and even if he does seem stereotyped, he still has qualities that I like in a person. Plus, his daughter is cute.

5. The character you would shag anytime:
Probably none of them, because I'm afraid I might catch something from the fandom, with they amount of times those characters have been in the hay. I'M LOOKING AT YOU, CLOUD AND SEPHIROTH. I KNOW YOU HAVE CRABS, AND THEY AREN'T FROM RED LOBSTER.

6. The character you'd want to be like:
Well, there's no one character in particular, although they all have traits I'd like to possess. Zack's confidence and Tifa's strength, for instance.

7. The character you'd slap:
Everyone. All of them in the face, some of them on the butt, too. But mostly their face.

8. A pairing that you love:
Cid/Shera. On the outside, you see Cid being verbally abusive and callous towards her, but when you play through the portion of the game where you get the giant materia and you see what happens there, you can't help but warm up to the idea. Well, you can still be repulsed by it, but I found it to be cute in a "Shit, you were right," "Damn straight I was, Captian" sort of way. Yeah, I'm weird.

9. A pairing that you despise:
I don't really have one, although I have liked pairings less because of how fans of that pairing have totally ragged on another that would interfere with their OTP. I know, I know, I shouldn't let things like that bother me and change my view on it, but I can't help but have a sour taste in my mouth when I read some pairings, because I think back to bad experiences or amazingly stupid people.

10. Favorite character:
Vincent, and everyone else is a close second.

11. What are your five favorite things about the fandom?
1 - There are a lot of people who have been in it for a while that you can still talk to, even after all of these years.
2 - I've made some wonderful friends in the fandom that I would not have met otherwise.
3 - The fandom has a long and rich history, and is full of any and every kind of thing you can imagine, from fanart, fanfiction, fandubs, song covers, anything.
4 - Even if your favorite pairing is PalmerxLard, you WILL be able to find a person, somewhere, who has written or drawn it.
5 - Not everyone is stuck in the same mindset, so you meet people who think in a totally different way, which could open up a path for you to realize that you really do like that character, or that damn, this one character is really a butthead.

12. What are your five least favorite things about the fandom?
1 - People who treat this fandom like it is the most important thing in the entire universe, and Heaven help you if you think otherwise.
2 - That damned love polygon between Cloud and EVERY character. Yes, even Dark Nation, Rufus's dog/cat/thingamajig, is part of this mess.
3 - With all of the new prequels/sequels/spin-offs, very few things are clear in canon beyond the physical appearance of the characters. In some cases, even THAT is debatable.
4 - I have met people in the fandom who argue about every damn little detail, from the color of Vincent's eyes as a Turk to whether Cloud shaves his armpits to keep them so clean and smooth. You could say one thing, and then they'd come up and say "NO, THAT IS NOT CANON, EVERYONE KNOWS CLOUD USES NAIR."
5 - All of the people who always say one character is better than the other because of the size of their sword. OTL I mean, seriously? Just... no.

13. Who are your five favourite characters (in order!)?
Vincent, Barret, Nanaki, Tifa and Aerith (both tied for the same place), Marlene. Everyone else pretty much falls into the same place, I love them all.

14. Who are your five least favorite characters?
None, really. There are some who I don't pay much attention to due to lack of interest, but there's no actual hate there.

15. What are your five favorite pairings?
If it's presented well enough, then I can like it. :3 I sort of like CloudxVincent, but more in a bromance, buddy buddy sort of way. Yes, I do realize that makes absolutely no sense.

16. What are your five least favorite pairings?
I don't really dislike any, although I know that most Cloud pairings aren't at the top of my list, if only because of fandom drama.

17. Which character are you most like?
Probably Nanaki, I'm always learning something new (whether I want to or not), and I think I still have some growing up to do.

18. What is your deep, dark fandom secret?
I like Vincent/Quistis, but I don't know why. D: WHY WHY WHY?
